Commissioning & Development Support Officer
Salary: £19,698 - £20,903
37 Hours per week – Fixed Term until 31st March 2022
The Families & Communities Commissioning Team of Staffordshire County Council is seeking talented, enthusiastic and creative individuals to join us as Commissioning & Development Support Officers to help shape, influence and deliver an ambitious, courageous and empowering commissioning programme across Families & Communities.
Reporting to a Senior Commissioning Manager, the successful candidates will support Commissioning Officers and Senior Commissioning Managers across Families & Communities to plan, deliver and monitor the implementation of commissioning projects and their subsequent delivery.
The successful candidates will have the flexibility to work across the Families & Communities Commissioning Team, including Children & Families Health & Wellbeing, Children with Disabilities, Early Help and Localities, Advocacy and Integrated Support for the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) and Refugees. Commissioning & Development Support Officers will have a specific focus on support for our Building Resilient Families and Communities (BRFC) Programme, the Together4Children Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) and the COVID-19 Winter Grant Scheme.
Commissioning & Development Support Officers are based at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2LP and will have a high degree of flexibility through the County Council’s approach to smart working. Postholders will work from home full time initially.
Staffordshire County Council is offering this post on a secondment/fixed term until 31st March 2022. Candidates should seek permission of their employing organisation before applying for a secondment.
