Ninestiles School is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Student Welfare Officer. Working under the Office Manager and alongside our Administrative and Attendance Teams you will be expected to provide a support service to ensure the satety and wellbeing of our students.
Based in our Student Welfare office you will have a desire to combine an administrative role with working with young people and be calm, patient and able to work under pressure. You will need to sustain a welcoming environment where students feel able to come knowing that their needs, however small, will be met with understanding and compassion.
As a Student Welfare Officer you will need to be able and willing to take lead responsibility for first aid (for which a suitable qualification or the willingness to be trained is essential). Experience of working with external partners, maintaining positive relationships and an ability to communicate effectively with members of staff, students and parents is crucial.
Ninestiles has a very reflective teaching staff body who welcome feedback from parents and students to secure the needs of all learners. The school has a wide and varied curriculum, students have access to an impressive range of sporting and extracurricular activities with well over sixty enrichment opportunities offered after school. There is a strong
culture of safeguarding and staff work positively with the leadership team to ensure students are kept safe.
