Clerical Assistant required to start as soon as possible

Location:             Two Rivers Primary School

                                Quince

                                Amington

                                Tamworth, B77 2HJ

  Full-time 37hrs/week (term-time only + 2 weeks)

Hours:  8am – 4.15pm (Mon – Thurs)   (45mins lunch)

            8am – 3.45pm (Friday)     (45 mins lunch)

Grade 3

Salary Range fte: £18,562 - £18,933 per annum

Actual Salary range: £16,270 - £16,594 per annum

A position has become available for a Clerical Assistant to be part of a team to assist in the smooth and efficient management of the school office.  The role involves a wide range of different administrative tasks necessary in a busy school office environment including being the first point of call in Reception.

The role will include:

- Reception duties, answering telephone, dealing with visitors

- Undertake routine clerical/administrative tasks

Key requirements:

- NVQ2 or equivalent Administrative Qualification or experience.

- Experience of working in a school environment

- Friendly approach

- Good communication skills

- Good telephone manner

- Confidentiality

- Efficient and well organised

- Good ICT skills

- Ability to relate well to children and adults
