Deputy Billing Team Leader
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Deputy Billing Team Leader. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and results driven individual to join our Council Tax Billing Team.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: Grade 6
We are looking for an individual who will provide a professional and proactive customer focused service to maximise income for the Council.
Working as part of a team, your duties will include updating computerised records and dealing with enquiries from the public by telephone, letter and e-mail regarding council tax and related matters.
You will be required to assist clerks and senior clerks with their duties as well as deputising for the team leader in his/her absence.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and provide a high quality service when under pressure. You will need to have good time management, organisational and computer skills, together with experience of working in an office environment and dealing with the public.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period. This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).Supporting documents
