Temporary: 12 months
The Growth and Investment Team in Worcestershire County Council lead on several projects to facilitate business creation, innovation, growth and expansion within the county. We are also working with our partners to support businesses to adapt under the challenging circumstances, never has it been so important to support our local business community.
We are looking for a Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to not only develop and facilitate the delivery of our existing project portfolio to support business, but to roll out new pilot projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and show a real enthusiasm for supporting SMEs within the County.
This post will provide candidates with the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience across the service area from budget management and project management, to data analysis, whilst gaining a greater understanding of the local economy.
The team is currently working from home due to the coronavirus guidance, however Worcestershire County Council operates a policy of flexible working and staff regularly work from home or an alternative work base, typically two days per week or 40% of their working hours.
