Senior Operational Officer (All Age Disability Hub) – Ref: SS02920
Salary: G8 £30,150 – £34,385 per annum
This is an exciting time to join Walsall Council’s Adult Social Care. We have a new and forward thinking leadership team that has brought a renewed focus on professional strength based practice across the workforce, to ensure we promote person centred outcomes for all our service users.
We are seeking a full time Senior Operational Officer to complement our management team who will support and lead on the establishment of the All Age Disability Hub which will bring adult and children disability services together seamlessly. You will need to demonstrate experience of working with a range of disabilities and ages and have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Care Act, Mental Health Act, The Children Act, and Equalities Act as well as managing registered services.
As the Senior Operational Officer you will be responsible for providing daily support and supervision to the management team, as well as coordinating front line services to ensure they meet the required standards. You will be providing coverage to the management rota which may include evenings and weekends across a seven day week. You will be responsible for leading / attending meetings and reviews on and off site as required.
