Administration Assistant - Arc Oakbridge School (Birmingham)
You will provide effective and efficient clerical and welfare support to the school, including some basic finance.
Hours: 25 hours per week during school term time
Salary: £9,810 - £11,250 per annum (£18,137 - £20,800 FTE)
Contract: Permanent, part time
Closing date: 15 February 2021

The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our small but busy school office team to provide an effective administrative support service. This will involve working in the school reception being the first point of call for all visitors and parents. No two days are the same so the successful candidate will need to have the resilience and enthusiasm to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. To be successful you will have good literacy and numeracy skills and have good familiarity with Microsoft Office packages. Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as previous experience in administration including reception work are also a key requirement for the role. Experience of working in a school setting is desirable, however more importantly, you will passionate about working with children and young people with autism and associated special, emotional and mental health needs.

We are an independent special day school for children aged 7 – 16, in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham with a specially designed learning environment created to meet the needs of children and young people with autism.
