NJC Scale 5 SCP 12-17; actual wage: £20,151 – 23,053

37 hours, (Term Time plus 3 weeks)

An exciting opportunity has become available at our state of the art school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated Finance Officer.

Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the forefront of everything that we do. The successful candidate will complete finance procedures for the school.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified accountant or minimum of AAT (Level 3/4), qualification or evidence of equivalent significant experience as a minimum
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
• Significant experience of academy/schools finance
•  Working knowledge of education finance and systems
• Budget setting and monitoring
• Conversant with Finance management systems experience relevant to role
• Prioritising and planning varied tasks and activities
• Development of new systems and processes
• Experience of responding flexibly in a changing and demanding environment, prioritising work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
