We have an opportunity within our Case Management Service for a committed and passionate Senior Social Worker

We are looking for forward thinking and highly motivated candidates who are able to provide a good quality service to our most vulnerable children. This is an exciting opportunity for you to excel in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment. As a Senior Social Worker you will have highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice.

You will have extensive experience in completing assessments and making recommendations on how those needs can be met. You will have a significant knowledge of legislation and regulation guidance relevant to your role and experience of working in frontline children’s services. Knowledge and experience of the SEND Reforms and The Care Act 2014 is desirable.

Your advanced expertise and knowledge will help you take the lead on the most complex cases within the service area. You will have strong written and verbal skills, and experience of mentoring/supervising less experience social workers. You will be an HCPC-registered Social Worker with an understanding of social work practice encountered throughout the child’s journey, including social work assessment, child protection, children looked after and court work. 

We are looking for forward thinking and highly motivated candidates who are able to provide support to the Team Manager and colleagues within the team you are in. You will have some mentoring/supervision responsibilities and, in developing the team, you will support staff through your leadership, drive, and commitment to the highest performance and practice standards.
