We are looking to recruit an experienced Family Support Worker who have a history of working within family support, youth or social care services to promote better outcomes for children, young people and families. You must have experience of case work, completing comprehensive assessments and plans for children young people and families, undertaking direct work with children and young people, and have experience of working with children, Young People and families with complex needs.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; therefore the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
