Location: Smestow School, Windmill Crescent, Castlecroft, Wolverhampton, WV3 8HU

This role will be temporarily working from home during lockdown.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Finance Team at the University of Wolverhampton Multi Academy Trust, led by Professor Michelle Shaw, Chief Executive Officer.  The Finance Team processes all Academy and MAT financial transactions and the successful candidate will support with the day to day running of operational finance at UWMAT. You will need to have experience within a previous finance role and have Grade C / Grade 5 or above in GCSE Mathematics. You will also ideally have experience of working in the education sector, have experience of using PS Financials and be working towards your accountancy qualifications.

This is a fast paced role and requires accuracy throughout, you will thrive with being able to be adaptable to business priorities and will suit being able to confidently work from home, picking up new systems and technology quickly.
