Project Mentor – Linking Futures Inspire

17 hours per week

£26,470 pro rata per annum

Fixed term contract until December 2021

The post will be based in Nuneaton and will involve travel around Warwickshire.

This role will support the delivery of youth employment activities funded through ‘Inspiring Futures’. Inspiring Futures is a joint funding programme between BBC Children in Need and the Youth Futures Foundation. Activities funded through the Inspiring Futures programme will support unemployed young people aged 18-24 in Warwickshire with a particular focus on those furthest from the workplace.

We are seeking a Project Mentor to manage a caseload of young people, provide high quality mentoring / advice and guidance in order for young people to achieve their potential and secure positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people who are NEET/unemployed, have experience of mentoring and understand & engage with hard to reach groups. You will have active listening skills, ability to communication with people at many levels and able to build and develop a rapport with young people whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
