Impeccable behaviour, centralised detentions, whole class feedback policy with no pointless marking, no performance related pay on the main & upper pay ranges, excellent work-life balance and highly visible SLT. Come and join our great, dedicated and specialised English team from September 2021 and impart your subject knowledge to our committed students.
The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust requires a Head of English (TLR 1c-currently £12,116) from September 2021 to work at King Charles I School.
King Charles I School is a well-resourced 11-18 school. We are unapologetically ambitious for every student, no matter what their background, prior attainment or needs and are looking for people who want to be the best. You will be an excellent teacher and an inspiring character who is willing to lead by example, but will also contribute positively to wider school life. Most of all, you will be clear that education is a great leveller and work hard to help us achieve our goal of preparing every student to go to university or high-powered alternative. This post is suitable for an aspiring or existing head of department
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Further information and an application form are available on the King Charles I School website (http://kingcharlesschool.co.uk/) or The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust website (www.thefourstonesmat.co.uk).
The completed form should be emailed (applications@thefourstonesmat.co.uk) by 10.00am on Wednesday 24th February.
We intend to interview during the week beginning Monday 1st March. However, early applications are encouraged as we reserve the right to interview earlier for this post should a suitable candidate apply.
The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust is an equal opportunities employer
