Herefordshire Council manage a dedicated team of school crossing patrols who assist children and pedestrians on their journeys to and from school during term time, it is a rewarding and valued role.
We have a vacancy for a school crossing patrol to support Leominster Primary School.
We are looking for someone with good road sense able to control traffic and pedestrians at a busy light controlled crossing. You will also enjoy working outside in all weather conditions, be punctual, reliable and enjoy working with the public.
The successful candidate will receive full training and uniform and payment spread across the year for term time work.
The school crossing patrol operates twice daily during term time from 8am-9am and 2.45pm – 3.45pm.
The position requires an enhanced DBS which if not already obtained can be paid for by the Council.
