As a Senior Public Health Specialist, the post holder will be working under the general guidance of the Principal, in a lead role for several particular areas of Public Health at any one time, whilst maintaining generic Public Health skills that will allow cross cover between staff as necessary. The post holder will be involved in the development and day to day delivery of public health initiatives, input into commissioning of services, and partnership working to influence the work of other agencies. You will be the liaison between Public Health and another division/team or partner agency, providing specialist technical expertise and/or training on appraising evidence, data interpretation, policy and evaluation.
