SENIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICER

Salary:  £23,541- £27,041 per annum (pro rata)

 37 Hours per week – Permanent 1st April 2021

Staffordshire County Council are seeking an experienced and passionate waste management professional. The primary aim of the role is to manage the payment and processing of all creditor accounts and assist the Waste Contract Officers in the validation of contract management information.  

The post holder will be expected to assist in the analysis and development of headline data and statistics; ensuring all relevant data is available for external reporting including Waste Data Flow returns. To achieve this, the post holder will assess and interpret data provided by contractors, Waste Collection Authorities (WCA) and partner organisations and support the resolution of data errors.

The successful applicant will assist in the management of queries and complaints from members of the public, WCA’s and Partner Authorities in connection with orders, accounts and day-to-day operational matters.

Whilst the core function of the role is to maintain the operational delivery reporting to Team Managers: Waste Treatment Contracts, you will also support the Head of Waste and Sustainability.
