In order to maintain high standards it is necessary to have a diverse workforce who are highly competent and experienced, whose main focus is ensuring the services we offer meet the aspirations and needs of our local community.In this role you will be required: To support the work of the Housing Advice Team especially in relation to registration and banding applicants and providing housing advice to help access various housing options including social and privately rented accommodation. To undertake administrative work in relation to Strategic Housing Services. To provide information, research, and data in relation to housing. To deal with general enquiries through various means of communication from the public, councillors and other agenciesYou will need: HNC or above qualification, A levels or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years related work experience. GCSEs maths and English (A-C or New Grade 4-9) or equivalentIT literate to a high standard including email, spreadsheets and databases.This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The normal working week is one of 37 hours. Interviews for this post will be held on Thursday 4th March 2021. It is desirable that the post holder provides an appropriate means of transport for use in connection with the duties of this post. You will be required to undertake the homeless out of hours function on a rota basis. Appointment to this post is subject to satisfactory clearance of a basic disclosure check (Disclosure & Barring Services (DBS)) under the Police Act 1997.
