About Us
The Communities and Partnerships Service supports residents and communities by building capacity and resilience, increasing volunteering and social action, facilitating effective partnerships and partnership working, promoting the principles of self-help, early intervention, prevention and strengths'-based working, and enabling effective community engagement.
We are a countywide service with specific focuses on community development, investing in communities including our management of the Councillors’ Grants Scheme, commissioning of voluntary sector support, advice and equalities services, financial inclusion, voluntary and community sector relationships and coordination of community-led activity across Warwickshire."
About the Roles
We are seeking two enthusiastic candidates who want to help people in the community and who enjoy speaking to people and providing a friendly, supportive customer service for people of all ages. You will join a network of community development workers across the county who deliver an ‘Asset Based Community Development’ approach.
We believe in building on the strengths of a community, rather than focusing on the issues. You will work with residents and agencies from communities across the county to build on and develop community led activities and initiatives.
In addition, you may have to work evenings and weekends to suit the needs of our client groups.
The apprenticeship
This apprenticeship will provide the key skills, knowledge, and experience to become a Community Development Worker after completion.
Level 2 Customer service practitioner

The Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship is designed for learners in Customer Service Practitioner roles.
Key Requirements
Five GCSEs at Grade C / 4 or higher.
