We are currently recruiting for a full-time New Build Development Officer to work within our Housing Development Team. You will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the delivery of our new build programme from initial design, through the planning process to construction and handover. You will also be required to assist in managing the use of Government funding through keeping the online administration system up to date in line with Government guidelines.

You will provide a comprehensive administration and project support role to the team which will require you to work independently and unsupervised at times.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of working on new build construction projects within the private or public sector including managing contractor relationships. Knowledge of the construction process including planning and building control is key.

Excellent administrative and organisational abilities are essential together with strong IT skills and an ability to deal with challenging situations.
