The Alcester and Bidford Primary School Consortium is looking to appoint an experienced support worker to support our Significant Adult Provision project based at Bidford on Avon C. of E. Primary School.
This is an exciting new project in partnership with Warwickshire County Council, aimed at supporting children within our consortium schools. It will provide an opportunity for significant professional development, including working within a network for professional support. The significant adult will play a key role in interfacing between schools and other agencies to ensure a wrap-around support package for the children they work with.
The position will require driving between schools and a casual mileage allowance will be paid.

Key Requirements

You will be required to liaise with schools, families, professionals and external agencies to enable children to reintegrate into a local school and to support children who are experiencing difficulties within their school environment. Being pro-active and flexible is essential.
We are seeking a hardworking and committed colleague who shares in our desire to make a difference to the lives of children. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, with experience of working with vulnerable and challenging pupils and support agencies. The role requires someone who is well organised and with good communication skills, who can work as a part of team and will take the initiative in supporting collaborative working in all of our schools.
