A highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Business Studies (and ideally A-Level Economics) is required to teach across key stage 4 and 5 and full ability range including GCSE and A-Level, Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly successful, hard-working and friendly department whose work is greatly valued and supported by the School Leadership Team.
Uptake in courses run by the department is very high and growing, with further KS5 qualifications being introduced. NQTs are welcome to apply, as are well-qualified and experienced teachers. Hanley Castle is a dynamic and pleasantly situated high performing Academy, which is justifiably proud of its local and national reputation for academic excellence.
Founded in 1326, the school provides a unique blend of academic rigour, modern facilities and traditional values. The school is heavily oversubscribed and our Sixth Form is flourishing.
Hanley Castle High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and as such expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Further details are available on our school website (www.hanleycastle.worcs.sch.uk). Alternatively, contact Mrs Carly Stone HR Manger. Tel: 01684 593241, Email: stonec@hanleycastlehs.org.uk
Closing date 11.59pm 4th March 2021.
Interviews will be held as soon as possible after the closing date
