Environmental Maintenance Assistant
4 temporary posts for approximately 6 months
37 hours per week
£17,842-£18,562 per annum
3 casual posts
£9.25 per hour
Street Scene delivers significant improvements in standards of grounds maintenance and street cleansing across Tamworth. With modern, efficient working practices we have a multi skilled workforce, which delivers an integrated service.
We are looking for motivated, reliable individuals with experience in grounds maintenance, grass and hedge cutting and general cleansing duties. A full driving licence is required for this position.
Four temporary posts are required from 1st April 2021 for a period of up to 6 months to work on a full time basis, with potential for a week by week extension thereafter dependant on operational need. We are also seeking to support this work with the addition of casual staff to work alongside our teams to provide additional resource at peak times. The casual posts will be required to work on an ad hoc basis initially, which may result in full-time hours, should the need arise.
