About us and the role
As a council, we want to become the best we can be in delivering digital services to customers. We are looking to recruit someone who has the skills and ambition to help us deliver our vision.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in public services and how we can deliver them digitally to our customers. Joining experienced colleagues on the Web Team, you'll also be working in partnership with service providers to improve online user experiences. This will include rapid prototyping, information architecture and supporting user research.
Key requirements
Alongside excellent content design skills and a commitment to high standards, we are looking for someone to bring experience of using evidence-based research to help us shape and deliver services. You'll need to understand how to deliver excellent customer experience through digital services and how to interpret user research and performance data to support continuous improvement.
You'll be part of a team but will need to be able to work individually to tight deadlines. Possessing strong interpersonal skills in order to manage the expectations of all stakeholders, you’ll be capable of contributing persuasively to discussions and communicating complex information regarding web technologies with varied audiences.
