Apprentice Regeneration Assistant - Ref: EE42120

Fixed-term contract until 31 July 2023

25 and over: £8.72 per hour
21 to 24: £8.20 per hour
18 to 20: £6.45 per hour
Under 18: £4.55 per hour

We have a great opportunity for a driven individual to join our award winning team as an Apprentice.

The person will provide support to the employer engagement service in order to help local people who are looking for employment and training opportunities.

The team are responsible for managing and delivery of the Council’s Walsall Works and BC Impact programmes.

We want to hear from an enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated individual who can play a part in changing the lives of local people and who wants to create a positive impact to our local communities.

We are looking for a candidate with some basic administrative skills and interest in regeneration or programme management to join our diverse and dynamic team.

You will need to:
• Be willing to work towards a new qualification (Level 3 Customer Care)
• Have an interest regeneration and employer engagement
• Be interested in developing new skills in project management and project delivery
• Have a willingness to learn about software packages to produce and maintain databases, spreadsheets, monitoring reports, case studies and action plans.

For this exciting role, you will need to undertake training in pursuit of a recognised Level 3 qualification through an Apprenticeship in customer care.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The postholder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or inillegalTagation in accurate spoken English.
