We are seeking a Pastoral Support Worker to join our Academy. This role is an exciting opportunity in an expanding Academy and may be perfect for someone who is looking to gain experience for a future career path working with young people, in teaching or social work.
You will be joining Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy at an exciting time as we are part of the St Francis and St Clare’s Catholic Multi-Academy Company launched in September 2019.
You will be responsible for providing support for the school team, taking prompt direct action on pastoral issues, liaising with the school team and the Vice Principal with responsibility for pastoral care.
You will have responsibility to address referrals as they arise, follow up cases referred to you and support the school team with various aspects of their role including liaising with outside agencies.
