Hawbush Primary School and Maple Tree SEMH Provision is a school that is on a journey of significant improvement and has been going from strength to strength in recent times. We are situated in a purpose-built school building with outstanding facilities in the middle of the Hawbush estate within Dudley. Our pupils join us as young as 2 in Time for Twos and progress to the age of 11. We also have a purpose built SEMH provision on site.

We have an amazing team of dedicated Senior Leaders, Teachers and support staff who work incredibly hard to ensure all our children live their dreams and are exceptional. We have higher than average SEND with 10% EHCP and are situated in an area of high social deprivation.

The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint a passionate and highly ambitious teacher, who is willing to work in a challenging environment and who demonstrates significant resilience to work permanently in our school. They are likely to be teaching initially in Years 1 or Year 2.

•an innovative practitioner that understands how to engage all learners
•committed to personalising learning and closing the gap for vulnerable learners
•able to demonstrate creative flair, enthusiasm, flexibility and the ability to challenge all learners
•able to deploy support staff effectively within the classroom
•Is up for the challenge of making a real difference to some of the boroughs most vulnerable children
