Mary Elliot School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at Key Stages 3 and 4, and 16-19 provision, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining our vibrant team as we move forward with mission to provide excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives. Mary Elliot is part a collaborative, supportive and progressive federation. This is an exciting time, and offers an opportunity to provide the empathy, support and nurture that will directly impact the future of the lives of the most significantly challenged young people in the area.

This role should appeal to you if you wish to progress your teaching career towards leadership, and be able to combine your skill in the classroom with an influential role supporting other team members to ensure high standards across a department team. It is anticipated that the person appointed will have a minimum of 3 years ASC specific teaching experience. We hope to appoint a professional who will seek to develop using innovation and national best practice, supporting our vision to become a widely recognised centre of excellence in SEND.
