A permanent part time position has arisen within the Housing Direct Debit Team. The team provides a frontline service to 22,000 tenants where Direct Debit represents a third of all payments.



Hours: 22.20 per week (working 3 days, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday)

Salary Grade 7

Successful applicants will have experience in financial administration and the delivery of Direct Debit services. You will have an advanced understanding of IT systems, be able to work at a detailed level and have exceptional planning skills.

Duties include:

  • Scrutinising, amending and processing complex Direct Debit files
  • Amendment of the Northgate Rents Database
  • Undertaking quality reviews, drafting procedures and working with the team to improve systems
  • Reconciliation of rent charges including rent increases
  • Provision of performance and statistical information
  • Training and guidance to team officers'


We are looking for someone with 4 GCSES at grade C or above including Maths and willing to study to NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or AAT (foundation) or equivalent.
