Sc5 Pt 13 -17 £22,627 - £24,491 pro rata (Term Time +1 Week)

Permanent - 35 hours p/w

We wish to appoint an inspirational, nurturing, and enthusiastic HLTA to join our successful and happy team. The post is to start as soon as possible, upon successful completion of all appropriate pre appointment checks.

Wrekin View Primary School is a two-form entry school covering age range 2-11 years old situated in north Telford that has a range of specialist provisions for our children.  We are part of the Learning Community Trust, a locally established trust that focuses on a child-centred approach to learning.

We are looking for a HLTA who:

  • Is a qualified HLTA or equivalent with exceptional classroom practice, with a passion for developing children’s learning, or can evidence experience to this level
  • Is committed to high expectations of care, achievement, behaviour, inclusion and safe-guarding.
  • Has the ability and drive to motivate and inspire all children
  • Is creative, dynamic and capable of working as part of our enthusiastic and dedicated team
  • Is qualified in Literacy and Maths to at least GCSE standard,
  • Possess good ICT skills (Microsoft Office),
  • Offers an area of specialism/expertise to support learning.

In addition to delivering interventions the role will involve covering classes, management time, PPA, CPD, sickness etc.
