Job Details
The Headteacher and the Governing Body of John Gulson Primary School are looking for a forward thinking, positive and caring experienced School Business Manager to join our SLT and our exciting improvement journey.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent financial, literacy and I.T. skills and have the ability to lead and collaborate with a team effectively. If you have attention to detail, are able to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and inspire your colleagues, we would be keen to hear from you.
The role will involve:
Management responsibility for effective whole school administration organisational systems, working with a large degree of independence, significant accountability and flexibility.
Budget preparation, with other senior leaders and responsibility for the planning, expenditure, monitoring and evaluation of budgets, as well as responsibility for the effective management of all financial administrative processes ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Building and maintaining successful relationships with people, treating them consistently, with respect and consideration.
Other areas of responsibility include:
• Human resource issues
• Premises related matters including building projects
• Health and Safety management
• Line management
Qualification & Training Degree in School Business Management/ Diploma in School Business Management or equivalent qualification or experience is required.
