L3 Salary: £28,785 - £32,878

L3/AMHP Salary: £28,785 - £32,878 (up to £34,788 with AMHP qualification)

This is an exciting time to join the Adult Social Care Mental Health Services at Worcestershire County Council. We are developing and implementing a new, ambitious strategy working in close partnership with health colleagues. You could be integral to the implementation of our plans, making these services some of the finest in the country.

Are you enthusiastic and dynamic? Do you want to join a dedicated and very supportive team in the delivery of Adult Social Care within adults Mental Health Services? 

As part of the Transformation of Mental Health Social Care in Worcestershire we have an exciting opportunity for a number of Social Work Roles across both South and North Worcestershire. We have Level 2, Level 3 and Level 3/AMHP roles- See attached Job/Person Specification for each role.
We are looking for highly motivated, flexible individuals who have a proven track record of a person centred and asset focused approach.

You will require a highly competent level of skills in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation alongside extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act, The Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act. 

It is desirable that you are a qualified AMHP or willing to work towards gaining your AMHP qualification.

Experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries is essential, alongside experience of working in complex situations using professional judgement and a range of interventions.

You will receive professional supervision alongside weekly team reflective meetings and be working in a team of motivated, dedicated and friendly colleagues.
