We are currently recruiting for a

Planning Policy Technical Officer in the Planning Policy team to monitor, research, analyse and present spatial information and statistics. This will help the authority to fulfil its statutory monitoring obligations and support the development of the Council’s emerging planning policies. Suitable candidates will need to be well-organised, have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage, and derive information from, complex datasets.


You will need to be educated to level thee on the National Qualifications Framework in subjects which demonstrate good standards of English and Mathematics.

In particular, you will need to be able to manage large databases, and have experience of researching, collating, analysing and presenting information from those databases.
