The role will be class based, full time on a permanent contract with a TLR2 awarded for the teaching and learning responsibilities that the role generates. The year group is TBA but likely to be in Year 4 in the first instance, however, applicants will be expected to have the necessary experience, ability and drive to lead any Key Stage 2 year group moving forward.

Boughton Leigh Junior school is a highly successful and friendly four form entry school in Brownsover on the outskirts of Rugby. Our children and staff are happy and enjoy coming to school! We believe that we are one big family with parents who are supportive and proud of what their children achieve. Our academic results are in line with national expectations and we strongly believe in pupil wellbeing and pupil lead learning which results in high levels of pupil engagement and good, respectful behaviour in lessons and around the school. Our children thrive emotionally and spiritually, as well as academically. We strive to meet our mission statement which is: Inspiring the minds of the next generation; and offer a broad and balanced curriculum which is challenging, engaging and creative.
