About the role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a friendly, highly organised person to join our dynamic and busy office team.  The right candidate should be a qualified, enthusiastic, positive, self motivated and have the capacity for hard work and a desire to support our skilled administrative team.

You will be required to complete a wide variety of tasks, ranging from answering the telephone to dealing with complex customer enquiries. You will be required to administer first aid and training will be provided for this.  You will have a personable approach to students, staff and external stakeholders.

The role of Attendance Officer will involve working closely with tutors, senior leadership and outside agencies to evaluate data and encourage excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance. 

You will also be obtaining explanations for unexplained student absences.

Hours of work are 8.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8.00 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. on Friday, but are negotiable for the right candidate.  This post is term time only.
