Neighbourhood Coordinator x3 posts
Two Year Fixed Term
£35,745 - £38,890 per annum

37 hours per week
To support the delivery of the Council’s priorities by working with Council services, partner agencies, Elected Members, Town and Parish Councils, local businesses and residents within key target areas across the Borough, ensuring residents have the necessary skills to take an active role in improving their local area to create Safer Stronger communities.
To facilitate partnership working to deliver neighbourhood management initiatives working alongside local people, businesses, community and voluntary groups, increasing residents’ satisfaction levels with the neighbourhoods that they live and work in.
To act as a first point of contact for people who have concerns about local issues, particularly those that are having a detrimental effect on their quality of life.
To influence private, public and voluntary sector providers, together with other stakeholders to align their activities, priorities and budgets to deliver the priorities in the Neighbourhood action Plan.
The post holder will need an excellent understanding of the stages involved in Asset Based Community Development and how this can be applied locally.
