Assistant Groundsperson

 37 hours per week, term-time, plus 20 days

The College is seeking a highly motivated full-time, Assistant Groundsperson with a good mix of gardening and grounds maintenance skills together with the ability to assist with premises tasks similar to that of an unskilled ‘handy person’.

The post will be for 37 hours per week, term-time only plus 4 additional weeks (20 days) to be worked during non-term days. The successful person will work as part of an integrated 2 person team, led by the Groundsman, maintaining the grounds and playing fields for Worcester Sixth Form College, Nunnery Wood High School and Nunnery Wood Sports Centre. The person appointed would be expected to work in all these areas. 

Most of all, a hard working, reliable and flexible groundsperson is sought, able to work without supervision as required and who is willing to work appropriate hours as the seasons and weather demand, and who can adapt to the changing needs of the three organisations.
