Lawnswood Campus Outreach Service is a specialist service that works in partnership with the campus, schools and local authority to offer a bespoke programme of one to one tuition to meet the complex needs of young people for whom provision on site is currently not available or appropriate.  Off site provision seeks to provide a core education offer of Maths, English, PSHE and Enrichment with a view to working towards re-engagement in a full time programme of education.

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant/Administrator to work in the Lawnswood Campus Outreach Service.

The central aim of this post will be to make sure that young people who access our service receive the best possible intervention. In addition you will be expected to carry out administrative duties and record keeping related to the role, supporting service delivery and will need to be very flexible in your way of working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 young people and need to be able to work both as part of a team and individually.  You will also need to build relationships with young people quickly as we usually have them for a short period of time. The post involves speaking to schools, parents/carers and any other agencies who are involved in the young person.
