Care Systems Support Officer

Salary:  £19,171- £20,344 per annum (pro rata)

37 Hours per week – Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity until 21st December 2021

The Care Systems Support Officer role provides an opportunity to join a lively established team that provides business advice and guidance and technical support, maintenance and development of the CareDirector system and other social care systems that support staff who deliver social care services to vulnerable people in Staffordshire.

The CareDirector system has 2600+ users across adults and children’s services providing services both within SCC and in partner organisations delivering commissioned services.

The post holder will focus on supporting the transition of staff onto a new version of the Social Care IT system.  This requires the post holder to have excellent organisation and communication skills in addition to the relevant IT skills needed to develop user guidance documents and virtual learning materials. Upon project go-live, the post holder will support end users by drafting detailed responses to users Frequently Asked Questions and communicating key issues as they arise.

We are looking for people with flair and passion for IT, strong attention to detail, inquisitive nature, knowledge of social care and excellent customer service skills.
