Solicitorx3 (Child Care)

35 hours per week £30,492 - £40,506pa (plus a market supplement of up to £44,000 and welcome payment of £5,000 for the right candidate-pro-rata p-t).

1 x Permanent (f-t)

1 x Temporary (f-t) for 1 year and the other a 3 day job-share (maternity).


We are a busy, friendly, well supported legal team serving Worcestershire County Council in a beautiful and conveniently situated location in Worcester. We provide a high quality and well regarded service (one of the national top performers for care completion) to our users and now need to recruit 3 childcare Lawyers.


We are looking for a Solicitor or Barrister, from those newly qualified to those with significant experience as a child care lawyer. You will advise the Children's Services Directorate/Worcestershire Children First (WCF) about child protection and related matters. Advocacy is an essential part of the job and you will appear at in all levels of the Family Court on a regular basis. At the moment all posts are working from home with full wrap around technological support as well as both the support of a legal assistant and a legal clerk


Are you an excellent communicator, able to meet tight deadlines and with good analytical skills? If so, we would like to hear from you. In return you will have the support of a committed and experienced team around you.
