The Role

Our governors are looking for teaching assistants who are dynamic and enthusiastic to work on a one to one basis with a Year 2 child who has an EHCP. The posts are part time roles, term time only, to offer TA support and supervision both in the classroom and over the play and lunchtime breaks.

The role has been split into 2 part time posts. Hours are post 1 from 8.45 to 12.00; and post 2 from 12.00 to 15.15 daily. Each post is 3 hours and 15 minutes per day: 16 hours 15 minutes per week. The posts are for 5 days a week.

In exceptional circumstances the posts could be amended to a full-time position for the right candidate: 32 hours 15 minutes per week.

The post is dependent upon external funding and the child attending Wolverton Primary School.

•Good level of numeracy and literacy skills

Wolverton Primary is a small, village school in a rural location on the outskirts of Warwick. The school was judged as 'Good' by Ofsted in March 2013 and June 2017. We have a hard working, dedicated and friendly team of staff and our children are enthusiastic, keen to learn and well behaved. Parents and governors are very supportive and take an active role in the life of the school.

These posts are exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointments will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The roles are covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for these roles.
