Castlemorton is a delightful Church of England primary school in an outstanding rural setting where the pupils display a positive attitude to learning and everyone is valued for their contribution. We wish to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious Early Years teacher to work alongside a friendly, enthusiastic and forward-thinking team on a part time basis; sharing the role with the Headteacher.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Early Years education and believes in securing the very best foundation for future learning.

  • Be creative and enjoy making lessons fun in order to inspire, motivate, engage and enthuse our pupils to love learning and aspire for great things;
  • Demonstrate real enthusiasm and commitment towards raising standards within an inclusive school community;
  • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to work positively with colleagues and parents;
  • Be an outstanding teacher, to enable their class to make excellent progress;
  • Have a clear understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early years practice as well as high expectations for outcomes in KS1;
  • Be able to contribute to the broader life of the school community;
  • Positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children;
  • Be resilient and hardworking and eager to learn, share and develop their practice
  • Be supportive of the vision, values and aims of our School.
