Scale point 4 grade 7-11 starting at £16,290 pa, Full year with 5 weeks annual leave
Up to 30 Hours per week – 7am to 10am and 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday
(Hours could be negotiated but will include opening and closing of the site).
Due to retirement of the current postholder in May, we are seeking to appoint a reliable, trustworthy, efficient and friendly Site Manager to join our Team.
You will be responsible for ‘taking care’ of the school site, including maintenance of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings and ensuring a clean, attractive, secure and welcoming site.
We are looking for someone who has excellent DIY skills, ideally in one or more of the following: basic electrics, plumbing, carpentry and painting. Some knowledge of Health and Safety requirements to include water testing, PAT testing, Fire Safety and COSHH would be an advantage. You must be numerate, computer literate and physically fit as this is a physical job and there is some heavy lifting is involved.
The Forge is an Alternative Provision School for students aged 11 to 16. All of our work is underpinned by three principles around the meaning of the word Forge; Resolve, Progress, Transform. Our mission is to provide outstanding education and behaviour support services to pupils at risk of exclusion or to those who have been permanently excluded.
