Business and Executive Support is a central business support function which is aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council and which fulfils the needs of the organisation as it evolves.  We are recruiting to 2 Business Support Officers to provide admin support predominantly to the Registration Service but with flexibility to assist with other priority work across the wider Business and Executive Support Team.  The other fixed term contract until 31/10/21 will support priority work within Data and Systems (Care and Corporate Support).

The roles supporting the Registration Service will require the postholder to be office based in one of our four Registration Offices across the County of Staffordshire (Lichfield, Burton, Newcastle and Stafford) with flexibility to work across these areas when required:-

The successful applicants will have: -

  • Excellent communication skills to engage our customers and Administration teams to share best practise using digital solutions where appropriate to improve processes.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and to manage changes at short notice, with a flexible approach.
  • Strong IT skills with a knowledge of SCC systems or similar packages for data management.
  • Good administrative organisational skills
