Do you want a pivotal role in our Covid-19 recovery programme?

We are recruiting an additional Head of Service for Adult Social Care, to work alongside our current three Heads of Service for a period of 12 months. This opportunity is available to internal staff as a secondment and as a fixed term contract for external candidates.

In addition to supporting our Covid-19 recovery programme, you will lead on some of our key areas of business improvement work. This includes further developing our safeguarding practice, improving access to employment for people with care and support needs, improving support to people who self-fund their care, and leading on a project to understand our future resource requirements.

You will need to be dynamic, organised and flexible, with an excellent grasp of data and information and first class report-writing skills. You will be a key player in our Covid recovery over the next year, to ensure that Solihull residents receive good quality support.

We have close partnerships with key stakeholders in the borough and our engagement with these has and will be key to our recovery and improvement.
