The successful candidate will be joining our school at an exciting time with new opportunities to improve and expand our catering provision. Our School is committed to providing an excellent catering service.
You will be responsible for assisting the Catering Supervisor with the management, administration and delivery of the catering service and deputising in their absence. You must be able to support the Catering Supervisor to develop and create a range of creative meals, undertake stocktaking, ordering and completing invoices onto tracker systems.
You will be motivated by a passion for quality coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation and service.
Candidates must have appropriate experience, good organisational skills and experience of supervising staff and hold a minimum of level 2 food hygiene certification.
You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment, budget management experience and good IT skills.
Effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care are essential, as is the ability to work and lead as part of a team.
