Who we need
You are likely to have a keen interest in active travel and want to make a difference to local delivery at a regional scale. The role is to develop and deliver an ambitious regional programme of active travel projects which will deliver new infrastructure and change human behaviour.
You will need credibility to get the results needed in tight timescales, working closely with local authority teams and other partners. You will have a strong commitment to customer service, whether it is in making timely responses to customer relations enquiries or working with the many stakeholders, partners and suppliers in the active travel programme.
Your ability to build strong relationships and cross-functional linkages will come to the fore in dealing with multiple priorities and building consensus from different stakeholder perspectives.
You will have an aptitude for managing project documentation accurately and an ability to focus on writing concise reports is critical. You will be using your own knowledge and data in problem-solving. You will have experience of interpreting and applying guidance to projects.
You will feel comfortable working with communications and engagement, design and media teams to ensure that active travel projects are communicated.
A key part of this role will be to deliver Monitoring and Evaluation activities in line with TfWM requirements and guidance from funders, which will require a high level of organisation and accuracy.
In return for your hard work and commitment, we will reward you with a range of competitive and attractive benefits.
