Deputy Headteacher (inc SENDCo)

Are you ready to join our Headteacher evolving and implementing the long-term vision for our Alternative Provision school?

Due to retirement of the current Postholder we are seeking to recruit a talented Leader who has a wealth of teaching experience both as a practitioner and as a Leader and for someone who has the same ethos and beliefs that we follow at our school.

As Deputy Headteacher you will:

• Be responsible for the academic progress for all our learners
• Lead on the provision of SEN across the school
• Be responsible for the development of teaching and learning across the school
• Lead on safeguarding

All of our work is underpinned by three principles around the meaning of the word Forge; Resolve, Progress, Transform. Our mission is to provide outstanding education and behaviour support services to pupils at risk of exclusion or to those who have been permanently excluded.

We do this through an effective support continuum to pupils, schools and families including Forge: Response, Forge: Refocus and Forge: Re-engage. We know this support impacts positively upon pupils educational and life trajectories.
