In this role you will be required:

To co-ordinate and lead on projects to reduce homelessness for the authority including through initiatives with partners and in relation to the wider Strategic Housing Services team

To establish, monitor and review contracts of commissioned services

Undertake project work in relation to the wider Strategic Housing Services team.

To support the work of the Private Rented Sector team in accessing the private rented sector and working with landlords

To be capable of developing and delivering on housing and homeless strategies and action plans including those that assist in preventing homelessness.

You will require:

HNC or above qualification or A levels (or equivalent)

A minimum of 2 years related work experience.

5 GCSEs (A-C or New Grade 4-9 or equivalent) including Maths and English

A minimum of one years work experience working with customers.

Experience of working with partners / external organisations

IT literate to a good standard including email, spreadsheets and databases

This is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract, 37 hours a week.

Appointment to this post is subject to satisfactory clearance of a basic disclosure check (Disclosure & Barring Services (DBS)) under the Police Act 1997.

You may be required to provide a suitable vehicle in connection with the duties of this post.

This job includes duties that may require a substantial amount of physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis
