Job Details

Elections are taking place on Thursday 6 May.  There will be elections for Kidderminster Town Council, Worcestershire County Council and West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner.


We are looking for people to work in our polling stations on Thursday 6 May and for people to help count the votes on Friday 7 May and Monday 10 May. 


The rate of pay for working in a polling station ranges from £152 to £267 per day, depending on the role you undertake, and the hours of work are 6:30am until 10:30pm.


The rate of pay for the count is £13.80 per hour.  The time it takes to count the votes can vary but it can take all day.     


We will be counting the votes for Worcestershire County Council and Kidderminster Town Council elections on Friday 7 May and then on Monday 10 May we will be counting the votes in the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner election.
