Our vision is to make Wolverhampton a City where people can live long, healthy, active lives.

We are looking for experienced and motivated people to join our Public Heath Team.

We believe that Wolverhampton is an exciting place to work in Public Health. We have a clear vision and a culture of improvement and innovation, and we pride ourselves on working across the whole Council and with partners. City of Wolverhampton was named Local Authority of the Year in the 2017 MJ Awards, for its outstanding example of modern local government where the resident is at the heart of decision-making.

The post holders will work with local people, communities, the council, partners and community organisations to maximise opportunities to reduce inequalities in the city and ensure our residents have opportunity to live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

The postholders will support the delivery of our place based approach by creating environments whereby local people and communities are supported and empowered to bring about a catalyst for change and build resilience in their communities. Successful candidates will have experience of partnership working and building and maintaining productive working relationships with communities and residents.
